The upgrade for ISPmanager has to be done entirely from the command line of the Virtual Machine. The upgrade for Webmin is started from the Control Panel, and then finished from the command line.

PLEASE NOTE:  We recommend making a BACKUP of your application configuration files and databases before proceeding with the upgrade. Failure to do so might result in data loss as well as loss of application and configurations.

To take advantage of this new version of Liferay Portal Tomcat 6.1.0 and Liferay Portal GlassFish 6.1.0, you will need to have a VM in the Cloud service. The methods to upgrade from JBoss 6 to JBoss 7 or from JBoss 7 to a newer version of JBoss 7 differ and it’s explained in the Release Notes. The upgrade process for JBoss has to be done manually, there is no automated upgrade path available.
