Google changes Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

You probably received an email from Google in the past few days with the subject: Changes to Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

The email explains the consolidation of over 60 different privacy policies into one policy covering the use of all Google services, effective March 1, 2012. See http://www.google.com/policies/ for the official announcement. The implications of the changes go beyond privacy, however. Indeed the official announcement explains how Google will use information it captures about it’s users to “tailor” their user experience across all Google services. These far reaching changes have caused quite a buzz on the Internet, and has even raised the eyebrows of elected representatives in the US Congress, as reported in a Yahoo news item – http://news.yahoo.com/google-privacy-change-triggers-congressional-action-204439338.html

For your information, eApps Hosting has a very strict privacy policy.
